Civil ceremony

A living bread museum with an artisan bakery and a tearoom. We’ve booked a “Pause Gourmande” for us, with coffee and blueberry tart.
7 rue du Sel ↗Local, seasonal cuisine inspired by wild plants, beside the river.
Time to head home
Take as many photos as you like, then open our shared Google Photos album, sign in and add your favourites.
Open the shared album ↗An Instax camera and printer at the restaurant will let you take an instant picture home with you.
One special request: if you can, please take a few videos during the ceremony too. Some people we love won't be able to celebrate with us in person, and we'd love for them to experience a little piece of the day with us. ❤️

No strict dress code - just come dressed as you feel your best. One small request: please leave the fluorescent and neon colours at home. 😉
Take a direct TER toward Basel or Mulhouse. Avoid the slower local train that terminates in Sélestat and travels via Molsheim.
The journey takes around 22 minutes and costs approximately €11.20 each way.
Pro tip: the Carte Fluo costs €30 for one year and gives 50% off (€5.60) for the cardholder. On Saturdays, the same discount also applies to one companion.
Example departures on 12 September 2026:
From Sélestat station, allow about 15 minutes to walk to the ceremony at the town hall.
Check current times and book ↗Don't worry about the last train - we've got you covered. We have arranged cars so everyone can get back to Strasbourg safely after the celebration.
Your presence is honestly the best gift. ❤️ We haven't prepared a gift list, but if you'd still like to give us something, there will be a little gift box next to the guest book.
